1/17竹科雙語部拜訪之行..歡迎參加..

Dear IBST parents:

 IBST  booster has arranged the visit IBSH on 1/17, Friday. National Experimental High School at Hsinchu has 30-year successful experience in bilingual education. We, the IBST Booster Club, contacted the school’s Principal Huang and she welcomes our visit and the two school communication. Principal Lin and Director Martina of our school are going also. We have about 5 people going so far. This visit is very important to get advice on the IBST’s further development.

We plan to take the 8:15am high-speed Rail from Tainan, arrive at their school by the scheduled 10:00am, and finish the visit after lunch. Interested parents (especially of lower graders) are welcome to join us and the Booster Club will subsidize partial ticket fare depending on the number of people going. Please email me to register by Wednesday. Thank you.

家長聯誼會預定於1/17這星期五，拜訪竹科實中雙語部，我們聯絡了該校的黃校長，她非常歡迎我們的前往交流，南科實中林校長及Martina主任將一同前往，目前我們有5位家長會去。竹科實中雙語教育辦得有聲有色，一定有很多事情值得我們雙語部學習。這是一件重要事情，兩位校長都參加，家長聯誼會關心IBST的發展，很重視這次的拜訪，希望吸收經驗及以後傳承。

我們預訂搭台南8:15高鐵，到新竹9:28，10:00拜訪，中午飯後結束。有興趣的家長(尤其低年級小孩的)歡迎加入，看人數的多寡，聯誼會將補助部分高鐵票。請星期三前email向我報名，謝謝。

Fun day on Sports Day 12/6&7/2013...

IBST Booster Club Activities on Sports Day 12/6&7/2013

IBST Booster Club participated in the School’s Sports Day on 12/6&7 and prepared two stalls. Our stalls were the most colorful and best prepared. We sold little and second-hand things as well as offered games. Many parents came to help and our stalls were very welcomed by children. Some money was made out of the activities for the Club. We hope the enthusiasm and devotion will continue in our next activity.

南科實驗中學一年一度的運動與園遊會已於12/7圓滿結束！

IBST家長聯誼會經過開會討論，參與此學校盛會，在園遊會設置攤位。此次活動進一步促進家長們之間的交流，及孩子們之間的互動，也為IBST家長聯誼會籌募一些經費。

連續兩天的活動，我們精心準備了二手用品的拍賣，製作有趣而活潑的遊戲。在活動當天，受到許多家長的熱烈支持與參與，孩子們更是興高采烈地玩著遊戲，現場熱鬧非凡！因為你們的熱情，讓這次活動在歡笑聲中圓滿成功結束！在此更要謝謝這次活動參與幫忙的家長們，謝謝籌募二手物品的麗香、策劃遊戲的瑩娟與郁晴，負責活動的Tracy，以及一群很棒的家長們。因為有你們，使得這次活動精采，更為有意義！期待下一次的活動，也能繼續這樣的熱情！

奇美農場一日遊

農場歡樂遊....

感謝熱情參與迎新聯誼活動...

親愛的雙語部家長你們好：

        非常感謝這次前來參與11/10(日)於奇美善化農場舉辦的迎新聯誼活動的28個家庭，共有102位家長和學生以及3位老師Ms. Martina， Ms Belle和Ms. Judy。希望經由這次的活動之後，能讓我們老師、家長和學生們之間有更進一步的互動和認識。

        活動當天，我們經由輕鬆知性的導覽了解農場的豐富生態，小朋友也在餵養羊群中和小動物們做了最親近的接觸。焢土窰活動也在全場家長和孩子們的合作之下，將所有食物包裹泥土，更加親近大地賦予的天然資源，讓大家在一片歡樂聲中完成了這項有趣的活動。中午我們則在農場享用由奇美餐廳準備的簡單美味的buffet。整個歡樂氣氛在焢窰食物出爐時達到最高點，感謝辛苦照顧焢窰的家長和學生們，讓大家能享用到美味香甜的蕃薯和烤雞。

        最後，IBST家長聯誼會感謝每一位前來參加的家長和學生，因為有你們熱情參與，讓此次聚會活動畫下完美的句點，期待在下次的活動能有更多的家長和學生參與。

        緊接著，IBST家長聯誼會將在12/7(六)的Sport Day設置活動攤位，屆時歡迎家長學生們能前來共襄盛舉。我們需要你們的支持和你們的鼓勵，這將會是我們努力前進的動力，再次感謝你們！

Dear IBST Parents,

We had a wonderful welcome party at Chimei Farm on 11/10/2013. There were 28 families plus Ms. Martina, Ms. Belle and Ms. Judy, 102 persons in total. We believe everyone knows each other better after this party.

On the party day, with farm tour introduced by team crew, we knew more not just about Chimei Farm but also all kinds of different plants in the fram. Parents & kids had the chance to see and feed animals. After that was the most fun part – Earth Oven. Everyone was busy in wrapping eggs, yams, corns, and chickens before putting them into earth oven. We got different & interesting experience about how to cook with earth oven. Thanks all parents, students & teachers’ help. We also enjoyed the food so much.

We would like to thank all parents, students & teachers for coming this party. With your support, we had a wonderful time. 

On 12/7/2013 there will be a food & game booth from IBST. Your support is needed. Hope to see you coming & have fun with us.
