2014 Fundraising 募款活動開始了...

親愛的雙語部家長﹕

南科實中雙語部之成立，為提供高科技人才及政府派外人員之子女回國就學，以國際性課程作為教育銜接。學校雙語部逐漸成長，目前也在進行WASC認證的申請作業，以獲得國際教育認證單位的認可，建構一個更好的學習環境。

協助孩子的學習環境更臻理想，是我們成立家長聯誼會的願景。雙語部每年有許多學生活動、社團競賽，教師亦需要進修。但學校預算有限，時常也不能支應此等活動費用。附檔是雙語部提出的經費需求，有四大項﹕學生活動、行政雜費、教師進修(包括實驗室設備耗材等購置)，及G4-G9教室冷氣安裝，共約100萬。期待透過每位家長的認同與付出，讓學校行政及學生活動永續發展。

經過家長會委員代表們的審慎討論，決議向大家募款。調整上述需求為以下四項，您可就願意支持的項目捐助，此次募款的目標為50萬元。目前雙語部共有94家庭，學生142 位。希望每個家庭最少捐助 2,000元，有能力並熱心的家長們能更慷慨解囊。

Dear IBST parents,

IBST was established to provide international education for our children. The school has been growing gradually and is now applying for the WASC accreditation to obtain international recognition.

Each year the IBST has many student extra-curriculum activities, competitions, and especially teacher’s professional development (PD) that the current school budget cannot fully support. The items prepared by the IBST administration and one million in total are shown in the attachment. Therefore, we need your help for our children and retaining good teachers with us. We want to provide our children with various projects and activities to prepare them for rich experience in service learning, competitions, and education of global competence.

After serious discussion, the IBST Booster Club decided to raise fund for the following four items in the table below: students clubs and activities, teacher’s PD, lab materials and supplies, and air conditioners (AC) for classrooms of G4-G9. The AC will provide cleaner and cooler air during the hot season for students and teachers.  In addition, your donation will also help the IBST office to serve you and your children better. The target for this fundraising is NT$500,000. The IBST now has 94 families and 142 students in total. Each family is suggested to donate NT$2,000 at least, and those who are willing to contribute are welcome to donate more.

The fundraising week is from June 2 to 6. You can put the money into the envelope brought back home by your child(ren). Or you can wire the money to the Booster Club account: Taiwan Bank (005) 146004190541 with the name (戶名) of李璧如, then email to our Treasurer Maggie at (maggie@libertytex.com).
